I went down to the lab where I get my film developed, and was told that I, "have to work on my composition. You
never put a subject right smack in the middle. Ain't you ever heard of the rule of thirds?" Why yes, yes I have, and I tend to think this particular photo (which was the target of the conversation) adheres to said rule. Even so, I don't think every photo has to follow the rules; I
love Kubrickian symmetry, and enjoy putting subjects right smack in the middle, as I've done
in the past. Sometimes, you gotta break the rules, right? Oh, and many thanks to Georgia for allowing me to take her photo on what was a
