My favorite film of all-time is
2001: A Space Odyssey - directed by the great Stanley Kubrick (my favorite director). I won't go into the specifics of how it changed my life, but I will point out
this shot. Tattooed to my brain, it has changed the way I see the world. A silly thing to say, but true. Having chaotic and natural symmetry between nature, man and the unknown is simply amazing. I know my shot doesn't even touch that surface, but I'll die happy if I ever get to experience something similar - with or without a camera. Enjoy the muzak for today, which comes from another Kubrick
masterpiece.
