Went up to
Sand Dunes National Park in Mosca, Colorado over the weekend. Breathtaking. And problematic. It was one of the more difficult places I've ever photographed. Obviously the formations are caused by wind and sand.
Wind and sand, which together spell doom for camera equipment. No focal length was really working for me, either. When I tried long exposures, the strong winds knocked my tripod over. Visual arts-wise, I think it's more of a movie (video, motion picture, etc) place. Still, in person, it was amazing. Such beauty and movement and awe. Maybe I'll show some more photos in the near future...
